I know summer doesn't "officially" start until late June, but I've always considered summer to begin June 1st. Maybe because all my activities and such were done by then, but also because there are 12 months, 4 seasons, so 3 months per season :) Yes, I sometimes live in Sarah's world. Normally I would be talking about summer plans and asking you about your own plans, but coronavirus. *sigh* I really can't believe we are still living under this and some of us are still under stay at home orders. But this is where we are. Summer is long though, so maybe some of our plans can still happen! My family had some exciting things for this summer. I was going to Cooperstown with my grandparents because my cousin was getting to play there. My dad and brothers were going to Mackinac Island for a youth gathering. That's all gone.
Other plans were not so concrete but are looking unlikely. Some friends were planning a Tigers game outing and with others we were talking about going to see an Independent League game up in Utica. Our cousins are supposed to come out here this summer. Who knows what our Cohort (our friend group) will be able to do. My brother's graduation ceremony and party are up in the air. It's weird to not have any concrete plans for summer. Really what I'm looking forward to for June is seeing people and getting back to doing sessions. Michigan is allowed to meet in groups of 10 again so those things can happen. Other than that, I don't have a whole lot for you! I will be getting back into my KJ Business Collection now that I have finally gotten all of my work done from Module 6 finished!!! As always, I'll be working on things to make this business an even better experience for all of you. That's one thing the shutdown has given me - lots of time to tackle the big tasks :) What is something you still have for the summer or are hoping to still do?

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
