Thoughtful Thursday // Youthful Body vs. Youthful Mind

These question cards have three levels. The first are kind of ice-breaker, surface level questions, and they go deeper. Well, this might not be a deep question this week but it's HARD! I can see it starting an interesting discussion.

"If you could live to the age of 90 and retain either the mind or body of a 30 year old for the last 60 years of your life, which would you choose?"

I think I'm leaning towards the body. I have seen too many elderly people who had sharp minds and frail bodies and it was very hard for them. What would make this choice harder is if choosing the body meant that the mind got very bad. Would my mind just age naturally or in choosing the body do I get dementia at 50? Because that might change things.

I'd love to hear if you think the mind is the better choice. I'm sure there are things I haven't considered so please share your perspective! Let's talk about what this might look like played out in real life.
