Gratitude is a powerful thing. We dedicate time to being thankful in November (at least here in America) but getting in the habit of recognizing blessings all year long is a gift to yourself and your family! So let's practice gratitude here in the middle of the year! "What in your life do you feel most grateful for?"
My first thought was that I was homeschooled. It's not a current reality of my life but it is possibly the biggest influence as to me being who and where I am today. Homeschooling, no matter what you think about it, is an entirely different way to grow up and experience the world. While there are a few things I would have changed about how we did it, I would not change that we did and I'm so grateful to my parents for making it happen for us. In my current stage of life, I am most grateful for my Bible study community. It's been a blessing I didn't fully know to ask for, nor did I think anything like this existed. To have a group of people who support, care for, encourage, and genuinely enjoy each other is just amazing. And I've made some wonderful friends in the group who have enriched my life. What about you? Do you have a blessing that has impacted your past and present like homeschooling did for me? Or do you have a current blessing that you're grateful for? Let's talk about it!

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
