"What hobby would you invest in if time and money were not an issue?" That is the question for our conversation this week! Thinking about it made me realize that I don't really have many hobbies or even interests that I'm not pursuing. Which sounds sad but I have tried a lot of different hobbies and I'm good with what I do have. However, I do have an answer to this question, after some thinking. When I was younger, I really enjoyed scrapbooking and making cards. Crafty things can get expensive and they take time, but more than anything else, I need SPACE! All the paper and accessories spread out FAST and then you don't want to be taking things out and putting them away every day when you're in the middle of a project. So if I had unlimited time, money, and space, I would go back into scrapbooking and cardmaking.
But I should also mention that when it comes to time, I am trying really hard to not believe that I don't have time, rather, I am choosing to do something else with my time. Yes, we only have 24 hours a day and some of that has to be spent sleeping and working, but we make time for what is a priority for us. By choosing one thing, we are saying no to another, and that's not bad or wrong, it's just showing us that Thing One is our priority. I could say that I "don't have time" to watch YouTube videos and follow along on certain channels that I do like, but the truth is, I'd rather read. So my free time is spent with a book over a video. If I got an extra hour, I'd probably spend it reading :) Anyway, that's something I've learned and I hope it helps you think about your time and hobbies in a new way. So how would you answer this question? Is there a hobby you have let fall by the wayside or one you have been wanting to get into?
