And just like that, we are a quarter done with 2025. It's already pushed and pulled me in all sorts of surprising ways but I feel like I'm finally settled into the year and I hope you are too! Winter is officially over (sadness) but I am excited to be barefoot soon and that our butter is soft again :) It's the little things that make me happy.
Personal Life This was quite a busy month for me. I bought some things with my birthday money so I got fun mail :) I selected my bridesmaid dress for the wedding I'm in later this year, got it altered, and had my hair trial. My parents and I went to see The Unbreakable Boy. Very cool true story and especially meaningful since I grew up with autistic friends (who were really like family). I'm not sure it's a good movie for young children but teens and up would enjoy it. You can check out PluggedIn.com for a review if you want to know if it would be good for your family. Lots of friend time this month and babysitting (which kind of counts because they are my little friends :) I did not go visit my friend, it had to be rescheduled, but I did get to spend the day with a different friend and her son who I rarely see. Lent has started so we have church during the week now and we had another craft show that went pretty well! Probably one of our best days for sales that we've ever had. Our final quiz went... okay. We had one of our best quizzes of the year and our worst one of the year on the same day. But at the end of it, I think the boys had fun and they definitely improved this year. Plus, I have ideas of how we can make changes and continue improving next year. My JV quizzer's team won the JV Finals and one of my Little League quizzers was in the top nine LL quizzers and so he made the All Star team! (Each quiz is made up of three teams of up to three quizzers, hence nine quizzers). Baseball has already started being crazy with injuries in Spring Training (although it's better than mid-season if I'm being honest). I found the anime Swiss Family Robinson show on Tubi! Long story short, we somehow ended up with a VHS tape of a couple episodes (?) of it when we were kids and I have vague memories but now will get to see all of it! Oh, and speaking of when I was a kid, my brothers and I did a "Kid Day" where we watched things we enjoyed as children and ate some of the foods we loved but don't eat anymore because they are really not good for you (like Hot Pockets and Pop Tarts). That was fun :) I told you it was full month! Business I had just a bit of editing work this month. Wedding season doesn't really get going for about another month and we are just about to start on spring sessions so I expect more catalogues in April and May. I do have some exciting news that I'll share on the blog at the end of next month because it will be in my newsletter that is coming out later this week and I want to announce it there first! (Not on the list? You can sign up HERE.) Taxes got done!!! I got the copy done on my new Branding Style Guide and now I need to collect some images. The collaborations I want to schedule will help with that. Aligning schedules with entrepreneurs can be difficult but the process has been started so that's good. How was your March? What's something good and/or surprising that happened this month?
