I have found the one "bad" thing about my new method of blogging. My wrap up posts go live much earlier in the month than the actual end of the month. Well... I'll just have to include anything of note in the next month's post I guess :) But on the whole, I have been pleased with this new system after one month of doing it.
For being the shortest month of the year, I feel like I did a lot! I got sick again (seriously, I never get sick and then I got sick twice in four weeks!) but thankfully it was just a cold this time.
I got to do childcare for our church's moms' group twice this month! I also attended a murder mystery party they hosted (I'm friends with most of the moms in this group and they've made me an honorary member :) I highly recommend being friends with moms. It's pretty great! Our quiz this month was hosted at our church and it went very well! We got first place in our first quiz and both of my quizzers froze without error! That means they got three questions right with no errors. It's a pretty big deal for them :) My cousin, who is leaving in just a few months to be a missionary in the Dominican Republic, came to stay with us for two weeks! She was speaking at a lot of churches and schools in the area but also got to meet so many of my friends while she was here which I LOVED! We got to be together the same days two years in a row because last year we were in California! Also, this is the only birthday I ever have spent with her. It's special. We got so much snow this month!!!! I'm a happy, happy girl! Other things of note this month: - Galentine's party - got our dogs trained to the electric fence so they are free to roam - baking :) I did a lot of it this month for various groups and activities I was attending. If you click on the photos of the treats you can find the recipes. I did get work done on my content and planning Novella days. I'm happy with where I have been able to get those things. We did not get as far on tax things as I'd hoped but I kind of thought that might happen, what with having my cousin here much of the month and being sick most of the rest of it.
