The 6 Apps I Use To Run My Business

If you were to come and see the behind the scenes of my business, it would probably make your head spin! I describe my approach as "MacGyver-ing it". I search for anything that will help me do whatever my end goal is and I figure out how to put them together to make it work. What this means practically is that I use a LOT of apps and programs but there are a few staples that I could not live without.

Lightroom - After my camera and lens, this is THE item I need for my business. (Well, and a computer on which to run it :) Lightroom is an essential and one of the first things I purchased for my new business. I can't believe I ever tried to edit without this program (my earliest images, I was doing just that!) and I am constantly learning new things that it can do for me.

Canva - My blog and Instagram would not be the same without Canva. This is not a photography-only site. Anyone with a blog or any kind of online business can use and benefit from Canva. All my blog images that are not photos are created in Canva and it was helpful in my logo redesign.

Email marketing system - Really, any platform that allows you to create and send emails to your subscribers is important. I started with Mailchimp and it has been a great introduction into what email marketing is.

Agree - I work with the best clients ever and I don't worry about being sued, but having solid, signed contracts ensures peace of mind for me AND my clients. Agree makes that a breeze! I shudder when I remember what a headache and worry contracts were beforehand.

Pass - Once I take and edit my clients' beautiful photos, I need a way to deliver them. I've been really happy so far with Pass and I love all the other apps they offer to step up my client experience! Finding a great gallery company is imperative and there are so many good options but I'm happy with Pass.

Vivi - One of the applications offered with Pass (though anyone can use it) is Vivi the Magical Unicorn. Yes, it's funny, but the videos are no joke! Vivi can make websites and galleries as well but I use it to make stunning sneak peek videos for my clients. It's fast and easy and makes my clients so happy!!

There are a lot of things in my business that are very important but these are the core programs and apps that form the basis of my client experience and my brand. What is something that you can't live without in your daily life, whether for business or personal things?
