My world is very simple in some ways. There are twelve months in a year and four seasons, so three months per season. Summer gets June, July, and August. I know that technically, the calendar says differently, but the weather says differently than that, so we can kind of do whatever we want :) I am looking forward to a great summer with family and friends, how about you? Some things I don't know when they'll happen, but I do know a few fun things I'm super excited about that are happening in June. Several years ago, one of my more adventurous friends brought up the idea of playing Paint Twister. It's just like regular Twister, except you put paint of the same color on the corresponding dots. Sound like fun? Well, we are finally going to do it this summer (the plan is this month), so I'll let you know.
We get to see our uncle, aunt, and cousins who live out of state and we only see them once a year, usually. Since my granddad died, my uncle has come out on his own a few extra times, but the rest of them we don't see much. My one cousin I haven't seen in person in three years, so I'm super excited to see her! June is VBS time. We always have it the same time because we hope to use it as an outreach to the community who comes out for the SPREE. I have been leading groups since I was 12 years old and I love it! It's a tiring week but so much fun to interact with the kids and see them learn. What are you looking forward to about summer and maybe June in particular? Do you have special traditions you do every year?

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
