See The Location // Terrace Flower Farms, Milford, MI

Talk about your hidden gem! Terraces Flower Farm is very new and since it's on private property, you'd never know it was there unless you knew it existed in the first place. Between it being new and the fact that each time slot through the day is limited to two photographers at a time, it's never crowded!

I went to tour here in November of 2024, which of course means the flowers weren't blooming, but I still got the idea of the place and it is surprisingly beautiful even in the winter! There are so many places and background options to choose from and I'm so excited to host spring novella sessions there this year!!

Another cool thing is that you can turn your family photos into an even cooler experience by picking flowers! The farm allows U-Pick flowers and also sells pre-cut options. So you get to enjoy the blooms while you're there and for several days afterward as well (while you wait for your photos :) Just for transparency, the owner has no idea that I'm talking up her flower options and I don't make anything extra if you choose to buy any flowers. I just think it's a cool thing to do as a family!

And if you can't make those but want to book a family session there, just know that they are closed for planting for about six weeks in late May-early July and are closed each Thursday for maintenance. For the purposes of booking with me, that means we would be looking at Tuesday evenings or the second or fourth Saturdays for a session at this location.
