Outsource Your Editing

Everyone who educates in the photography world teaches about the power and benefits of outsourcing, especially your editing. There are several options when it comes to how you outsource your editing but I want to talk about private editors.

The thing that I think is the coolest about private editors is that you have a personal, one-on-one relationship with them. You work with the same person every time and can really get to know them. Your service can be more customizable and the editor can work with you to adapt as your business grows and changes.

I love editing and when I decided to get into offering that service for photographers, I knew that I wanted to be a private editor. There are companies I could join and work on so many different portfolios but I love the relational aspect of photography and I wanted to keep that in my editing career as well.

As your editor, I'm helping you give your clients the best experience possible. I'm supporting your business and enabling you to tell more stories and make more connections with your art. I love that by assisting you in this one area, I can allow you to flourish in your business and your life.

One of my favorite lines from Avengers: Age of Ultron is when Banner says to Stark, "You want me to help you put Jarvis in that thing?" and Stark replies, "NO! I want to help YOU put Jarvis in that thing." I want to help YOU serve YOUR clients the best way you can and help YOU be present for your family and your life. That's what I see private editing as accomplishing.
