I love fun days in months. Like Pi Day in March, I like "Star Wars" Day because it is funny. What else is coming up in May?

Well, there's Mother's Day. I still need to get cards. I used to make cards every year. Maybe I'll do that again this year. Possibly my favorite thing about May is that I get to see my cousins twice! The whole family gets together on Mother's Day and then we do Memorial Day/the boys' birthdays (since they are four days apart right around then).

Last year, I got asked to do the portraits for the kids getting confirmed and I have been asked again this year. It's a short job and I don't get paid, but I love that it's a way for people to see that I'm a photographer without having to be weird about putting myself out there.

The doors are still not painted, so maybe that will happen this month. It's an expanded job now because the door frames need touching up too. Good thing I like painting! :)

I have had people ask for me to take family portraits for them "in the spring" and the flowers and trees are starting to bloom, so those will probably happen in May. Other than that, I don't have huge plans. I'll keep building relationships with people and working on new services to make your experience even better!!!
