July was... interesting. A lot of really great things happened but I also had some stuff come up in my personal life and that has been/is hard. However, I want to celebrate the joys, not to ignore the hard, but to put my perspective on the many blessings I enjoyed this month. My month started in Tennessee, and I spent the last day of June in Kentucky, so I've still been to a different state every month this year except January! When is the streak going to end? Who knows!
We were in Tennessee to get our two Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs! It's been an adventure having Glacier and Canyon here and we are working on training them to our property. We also got barn cats! Two new species in the same month! Another farm update is that the guys finished the new woodshop and we got that moved. It was the same weekend that we split wood. It was an exhausting weekend. Here are my July Joys:
Let's see how the goals went :) Personal
As you can see, not a lot that I planned happened, but I did a lot still! So I don't mind that several of these things didn't happen. Two were outside of my control anyway. Business
It's funny because, the rough thing that happened this month has clouded over so much of the good! I'd forgotten about some of this because all I could see was what I didn't like. Doing things like this is a great way to regain some perspective! How was your July? Did you do anything fun? Or did some hard things happen to you and you need to join me in a perspective shift?
