You ever have something small that just makes your day? Just me? There are things in this world that are very insignificant in the grand scheme of things but if I experience them, they will instantly brighten my day and put a HUGE smile on my face. I hope you have things like that because they are such blessings! A goal of mine lately has been to try and be more aware of the little blessings in life. The small moments that usually get overlooked or the everyday things that tend to get lost simply because they are constants. Things like appreciating each sunset, letting the routine of making bread or washing dishes be a moment to be present, or even sitting in silence (something I find challenging but am trying to work on). I think our lives are changed by noticing the small things and by being grateful for them.
Here are just a few things that will always, always make my day:
You'll notice that some are things, some are experiences, and some are places. All are what I would call a "little" thing. Nothing that should really have the power to instantly put a smile on my face but they all do. I can't help but smile. And these are just what come to mind in the moment of writing this. I know there are more things. What kinds of things would make your day? If they happened or someone got something for you, what would that look like? Let me know in the comments! Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
