It FINALLY Happened!

Happy Monday, everyone!!! I stayed up WAY too late last night reading so it's a slow morning over here but I am a very happy girl because...

we got the biggest snow of the winter last night!!!!!!!!!! Ahh, it is just gorgeous out!

Last night, I was sitting, waiting to leave for my young adult group, and I was watching the flakes fall, getting bigger and bigger. I finally decided to leave early, since with all the snow it would probably take much longer.

I walked out of my church to silence. It was dark, everything was already blanketed in snow, and big flakes were still falling. As soon as I got on the road, I knew it was not a good idea to go to my group, so I just went home. But as hard as it was to drive, it was still beautiful.

We got about 7 inches (so my dad says) and thankfully it was fluffy snow because shoveling that much wet snow would have been really hard! I never complain about shoveling because I want snow. I wouldn't say I enjoy it, but I won't complain about it.

The best part? It doesn't look like the snow is going to just disappear in a day or two!!! It's going to stick around a little while!

Who likes snow? Please leave me a comment because it is a lonely community of snow-lovers here in Michigan. Weird, I know, but people here do not like it as a general rule. Snow-lovers unite!
