I'm Excited For April

We are fast approaching my favorite holiday!!!! No, that is not Opening Day. That's my second favorite :) But April does have some fun, exciting things in store!

Opening Day for baseball is the first event on the docket. I've been enjoying Spring Training and am just glad we are having a season. There was a time when it looked like we might not have one.

Then we have EASTER!!!! I am so excited for the Easter season and all that it encompasses. It is my favorite holiday, hands down, and I'm just really hoping it's completely normal this year! 

I haven't gotten an exact time frame but I have to imagine we'll be planting our gardens this month and we are getting some grasses to plant in front of the house to perk it up. It needs some curb appeal. One of my tasks (self-appointed but approved by my dad) is to beautify the farm with minimal work and expense. These grasses make the house look better and don't require much, if any, continual care. It's little things like this that will make living here so much better.

I'm looking forward to flowers, especially lilacs!!! I will be evaluating our lilac bushes and seeing if next year, we need more/new ones. I'll also be seeing if we need more flowering bushes/plants to add color to the place.

I am planning to FINALLY figure out my Canon Connect. When I bought my mirrorless, I was very excited to have a camera that I could use my phone with and have not taken the time to actually figure out how to make that happen. I want to know exactly what the capabilities are and become comfortable with the technology so I can make the best use of what I have.

That's all I've got in advance. I'm sure we'll be doing more organizing of stuff and getting things set up how we want them to be going forward. We'll see how April shakes out! What do you have scheduled for April that you're looking forward to? Tell me all about it in the comments!
