Happy Autumn!!!

I think I might have missed a month or two of my monthly intros! Welcome to fall, everyone! I'm going to be honest and say that I'm one of the weirdos who doesn't really like fall. I'm not really into the leaves changing colors, so I don't have that to help me through all the rain. HOWEVER, there are a lot of nice things that come with fall, so I focus on those and not the rain. The other thing is, fall means baseball is over and that is sad. But we don't focus on that either :)

Here are some things I like/am looking forward to about fall:

• I'm super excited to really use my new diffuser this fall and see if it helps me with all the grey, rainy days.
  
• Cider doughnuts!!! If you're not from the north, you might not know what these are. They are regular cake doughnuts covered in cinnamon sugar. Up here, they pretty much only make these in September/October with apple cider, so we call them cider doughnuts. They are SO GOOD!
  
• Cooler weather. Fall means it's almost winter. Again, I'm one of few people who like that, but it's true.
  
• Pumpkin foods. Yes, I'm into pumpkin-y things. I don't care if it is trendy, I just think they taste good.
  

I really like living in a place with seasons. I get excited to change my wardrobe. There are good things about each season that make them fun. I just have to work on focusing on those good things and not what makes me annoyed :)

I have some fun things coming up this month. I'm going to be doing photography for a 65th birthday party for a lovely lady from my church. It's really an honor to do this for her. She is someone who I have looked up to as a role model. I'm also going to be doing team photos for a local homeschool soccer club. These are two things that are outside of my norm but I'm excited to do! Our homeschool graduation program has its first meeting this month and I'm going to introduce myself and offer my services for senior photos.

I will be staying with some kids for a few days and I get to experience taking kids to school! That will be... well, an experience, for sure :) My friend plays hockey at his college and is supposed to be coming back here to play a game. The last two years, the game that was here didn't happen, so our fingers are crossed. There shouldn't be anything to cancel it this time.
