Gratitude // Pt. 2

Every November I am intentional about looking for blessings and being thankful. I try to find at least one thing each day that I'm grateful for. Some days are easier than others but it is a good exercise. I shared about the first half of the month in this post, if you want to go back and see the beginning.

Here is the rest of my list for November 2022:

1. My friend sending me red panda videos
2. the quiet stillness of snowfall
3. physical pain to tell me something is wrong
4. video chats with my friend and her kids
5. Dubsado
6. mug cake
7. I didn't lose the files on my computer
8. the restore on my computer worked
9. a friend to help me with my computer issues
10. being single
11. money saved to buy things
12. playing games with my cousin
13. cranberry ginger ale
14. golden light over an open field
15. brand-new friends sending me things
16. Thanksgiving text from a client-turned-friend
17. a bathroom to clean and the ability to clean it
    
18. Spotify premium
    
19. baking with my friend
    
20. going to the Nutcracker
    
21. twinkling lights
    
22. meeting a potential new friend
    
23. seeing a baptism
    

Once again, there are more things here than days, but my minimum is one thing each day. You might also notice that some things seem odd. That is because the things that I tend to complain about or let make me feel sad I am trying to find the good in. That is a real challenge but it is one that I am starting to see as necessary. It's easy to be thankful for good things. Even small things. But hard things? And yet, we are commanded to give thanks continuously. So that is what I'm trying to do.
