February: One Of My Favorite Months

Welcome to month #2 of 2019! We all know the big thing in February... Valentine's Day. I have some great Valentine's Day memories and I am hoping to hear about yours! But that's not why it's one of my favorite months.

My birthday is in February!! In addition, my two best friends have their birthdays in January and March, so we always did something all together around this time of year to celebrate all our birthdays.

For those of you who know me, you know my love for baseball and the Detroit Tigers. Spring Training games start at the end of February which makes me SO happy!!! Add snow into the mix and February is one of my favorite months.

Let's talk about Valentine's Day now for a moment. For me, this holiday has always been about friendship. My co-op did a Valentine's party where we would go around and share valentines (some people had really cool "mailboxes" each year!) and then we'd all sit in circles and look at our valentines together. Don't forget yummy treats! Our grandmother often gets us each a heart shaped doughnut for Valentine's Day. Just a fun thing she does.
