Feature Friday // Cultivate Love

Washing and doing your child's hair is about so much more than just washing and doing hair. It's an intimate bonding experience between the parent/caregiver and the child. But many people with foster/adopted kids or blended families don't know how to work with hair that is very different from their own and are forced to outsource this intimate experience to others. That is where Cultivate Love comes in.

Holly, the owner of Cultivate Love, wants to change that. Her mission is to teach and equip parents with the knowledge and tools that they need to care for their children's hair needs and give them back that precious time and experience.

As a licensed cosmetologist who has work extensively with children and the foster care system, Holly is uniquely qualified to help families learn to use hair care to forge deeper bonds between parents/caregivers and children. She has a huge heart for these families and it comes across in how she talks about her services. She also makes these experiences very kid-friendly with music, bubbles, toys, superhero capes and masks, and I'm sure much more! I think event the most reluctant kid would love an experience with Holly!
