There is an Instagram challenge going on for the month of March and I'm splitting it between here and Instagram. Hey, a month of ideas for content? Yes please! Sometimes I am full of things I want to share, and other times it is really hard to come up with something I think will benefit you or be of interest. Can anyone else relate?? Today's challenge topic is: a cause you support. Me, personally, I don't support causes on a regular basis, but when I hear about a cause that fits with what I believe, I'm happy to show support.
I would say there are a few key areas of ministry and service that are close to my heart, so I want to help out there whenever I can. Those are: orphans/adoption, pregnancy centers, mission work, and human trafficking. My family and I help out at our local pregnancy center a few times a year, usually helping with mailings and then my mom and I volunteer for their big fundraising banquet. I'm not of the personality nor do I really have the opportunity to be "boots on the ground" in many cases, but my prayers and financial support can help those who are able to physically go and do something. I don't know about you, but I want to help EVERYBODY! The starfish story helps me a lot. I can't help every orphan. But I can help this one. I can't help a pregnancy center save every baby. But I can help them save one more. I can't help an organization rescue every slave. But I can help them free one more and support one more who has been freed. There's a lot of need in our world and a lot of great organizations. You can't support every single one. Find one that meets a need that God has placed on your heart to support. We all have different passions and burdens and I believe that is intentional. Prayer is awesome and SO important, but, if you can, also give of your time and/or money. What about you? What burdens are on your heart? What do you support and how do you go about doing that?

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
