Candy Corn & Pumpkin Spice

I'm slightly coming around to liking fall. After all, it has amazing golden light, cider doughnuts, candy corn, and all things pumpkin spice. Plus, it's moving me closer to winter. I'm also a fan of the wind, as long as I'm not trying to take photos :)

As the year has gone on, I find myself planning less and less. I've really had to learn to plan things loosely. So what things am I hoping for this month?

I might be going back to Nebraska!!! Two trips there in one year? Well, we don't have a whole lot of options. Our friends couldn't come here and unless we went again in January (which we'd rather not do), we wouldn't get to meet the new baby until next summer, when he's a year old!!! Plus, with her husband's job, they might not be there next summer. You never know.

Recently I was talking to a friend and we realized that we don't think we've seen each other in person in TWO YEARS!!! So I am planning to drive out to see her. She's only about an hour and a half away, but it's just one of those things where the distance is the slightest bit too far and suddenly it's been years since you've seen each other.

I'm very excited for the other Mother's Day family session. Here's hoping the weather is good and we can do our original day!!!

I've had cider doughnuts already but that doesn't mean I might not get more :) I'm excited for any and all pumpkin spice foods and my Grammy will have candy corn out any day. Each evening that there is sun is absolutely gorgeous and I am here for it!
