 It's crazy time! I cannot believe how full my September got. Suddenly, running three business is getting a little bit overwhelming but I just have to keep reminding myself that this is what I've prayed about for years so this is an answered prayer! I do think that some balance needs to be introduced soon, but so far we are making it all work.

 Can you feel the love tonight? You definitely could with this family. They were so sweet and so much fun! Extended family sessions are some of my favorite and this session reminded me why that is.
 Whether it is your first or sixth child, a new baby is exciting news that you want to share! But how do you manage the spread of this joyous news in today's day and age of social media and minute by minute updates? I have some suggestions for you!

But in all seriousness, these day trips have been such a blessing. They refresh me and I never feel like I have enough time, so I'll just have to go back again sometime!  AI is appearing everywhere these days. Love it or hate it, you can't escape it and it's even getting into the photography industry. It is possible to have a robot edit a gallery, which is mind-blowing, but I'm a private editor and I'm not worried about losing my job.
 Owl City has been a top artist of mine for years. I don't know for sure how I was introduced to him, but it was probably my friend Molly. Since I've been listening to his music since 20080 or 2009, it's been really neat to see how his style has developed and now I've gotten to see him in concert TWICE! And this time, it was the tour kick-off show!
 Did you know that there is actually a process to having a great photography experience? It's true! Many people think it is just about pricing but there is so much more that goes into choosing a photographer and what you need to know and do before you pay and sign the contract.
 Something that I don't talk about a lot is that I am also a private photo editor for other photographers! Editing has long been one of my favorite parts of photography but a lot of other photographers hate it or it has become a huge backlog for them. I love that I can provide a service that blesses us both immensely!
 I was an adult before I got my first social media account but I'd grown up with friends who had them and hearing all the warnings about how toxic of a place the Internet was and how addicting it could be. So I went in to my Instagram account with VERY strict rules for myself. Six years later, I have learned a lot about regulating social media, making it an enjoyable place, and making it serve me, not the other way around.
 I miss the days when September meant co-op started again!!! But I don't miss school as a general rule :)
Love it or hate it, pumpkin season is here and I am a fan because I enjoy pumpkin flavored things. I have quite a few recipes I hope to try out in September and October. I've been saving them all year. |
