 Wave goodbye because summer 2024 is all but over. I felt like it was a good summer and I hope it was for you too. I did 3 out of 4 things on my summer bucket list, which I feel pretty good about. I also feel like I did a decent job of my goals for this month. (Just don't ask me about my arm exercises).

 Downtown Brighton has such a cute look and perfectly incorporates some nature into the small town charm of the urban setting. I am captivated by the buildings and unique features like the open-air amphitheater.
 Gratitude is a powerful thing. We dedicate time to being thankful in November (at least here in America) but getting in the habit of recognizing blessings all year long is a gift to yourself and your family! So let's practice gratitude here in the middle of the year!
 I'm so excited to finally be sharing this unique location with you! It's nature with a twist, thanks to the amazing rock garden feature. Kids will LOVE climbing around and you will get some great candids from their adventures!
 "What would you do with a free Saturday morning?"
*laughter ensues* Free Saturday mornings are almost as mythical as a unicorn for adults, but that is part of the point of the question, I think. It might only happen a few times a year, so what will you do when one of those rare events occurs?  As a private editor for photographers, I have found that sometimes, in editing their favorites from different parts of the day, they can sometimes create some inconsistencies in their gallery without knowing it, because the images they select are from different parts of the session/day. However, there is a pretty easy way to check for consistency BEFORE sending the catalog off to the editor and I'm going to share that with you today!
 Have you heard of those challenges to speak on a topic for five minutes straight with no preparation? What if you got to pick your topic instead of it being random? What would you be able to talk about? What gets you fired up?
 I'm not a trendy person :) You won't find me on the cutting edge of just about anything. I'm still not but I did find a trend on the Bookstagram side of the internet that seemed like something I could do!
 Every once in a while this happens. I usually stay on top of my posts and have them all set to go a few weeks out. But then days like today happens. Life caught up to me and a post needed to go live and it wasn't written. Sometimes that means a post gets skipped and sometimes it means it gets written first thing in the morning. The latter is what we are doing today and we are looking forward to August!
