 July was... interesting. A lot of really great things happened but I also had some stuff come up in my personal life and that has been/is hard. However, I want to celebrate the joys, not to ignore the hard, but to put my perspective on the many blessings I enjoyed this month.

 What is it with habits lately? Apparently I really need to form some, because I can hardly answer these questions! This one has to do with "an ideal world" which means my mind went in all kinds of directions because in a hypothetical ideal world, there are all kinds of habits I'd love to do :) Can you relate?
 Historically, I have been a saver. When I was about 11, I was given a small, decorative candle, and I never burned it! Eventually, we stopped burning candles and I gave it away during a room clean. Isn't that sad?! It's one thing to save something for a purpose but I tend to save things for a nebulous "someday" that never comes.
 I was a little shocked to realize that I don't really have an answer to today's question! I'm a planner; have been since high school, at least. I like having at least an outline of a plan and I like knowing what I'm doing in advance. I struggle with spontaneity (though I am getting better). You would think that routines would be right up my alley, right? Well...
 I'm going to get really niche and reveal something about my childhood at the same time with this post. Most people won't be interested in this, and some will probably think I'm being silly (I will admit to probably overthinking the whole thing), but that's okay. I just want to write the post and if it's only ever for me, I'm okay with that.
 We have moved into the second tier of questions! These go a little bit deeper and typically take a bit more thought to answer. I know when I was thinking of this question, I realized that the people who come to mind all share similar traits and qualities, which makes sense I suppose. They are the kind of people I want to be like one day.
 My brother has wanted a dog for most of his life. Now, we have TWO! It's always been the plan to get livestock guardian dogs and since we have chickens and pigs now and are getting cows this fall, it was time to get dogs!
 A few years ago my family got a family edition of The Adventure Challenge. We didn't get started on it until recently and it's been so fun! We use it for our family night activity and it's a good change from movies or games. (Not that we don't like those, but something different is nice).
 I've been looking forward to July for all of June :) There are some majorly exciting things happening this month and we are starting the second half of the year!
