 I'll admit, I haven't been to that many baby showers in my life but I am entering the stage where friends are getting married and starting to have kids and it hasn't taken me long to figure out that there is one thing I MUST do when I get invited to a baby shower.

 I can't speak for all photographers out there but I believe there are a few things you should expect from your photographer, no matter who they are and what their client experience is. There are certain things that should just be standard across the board and if the photographer you are considering does not do them, I would recommend looking for another photographer.
 Hiring a professional photographer is not a small investment. What makes it worthwhile? If you purchase albums or canvases, the investment is even more. What benefit do you get at the end? These are valid questions and it is smart to think things through before you invest that much money into something.
 Are your photos of your kids years old?
Is your last family photo missing people? Do you just keep putting it off because it seems overwhelming? Getting beautiful photos does not have to be a hassle!!  I love meeting new clients but I also love getting to work with little kids I already know and love!! I've missed these girls so much over the past four months and I was thrilled to be able to take their birthday photos!!
Yes, we did these the same day as Maggie's senior photos because these are her darling nieces!!! I was SO amazed by these girls! They did such a great job! We let "Aunt Mugga" go first so that they could see what a session was like but they've also done photos before. Hazel is the younger one and she can be slow to warm up but when she has her sister and her aunt around, she is so much better!!!  I'm so thrilled to start working with the amazing Class of 2021!! Maggie contacted me in the middle of quarantine to ask if I would be able to do her photos when things calmed down and knowing I had sessions like this coming up helped boost my spirits during quarantine when I couldn't shoot.
It's been three years since I've met Maggie and she constantly surprises me with her spirit. She balances grace and femininity with toughness and a great sense of adventure. To look at her, you wouldn't think this girl was athletic, a Ninja Warrior, and was going into an EMT/firefighter program!!  Of all the maintenance tasks I do, backing up my computer and phone are my least favorite. I don't know why I dread it so much, but I do. However, I also know, from personal experience, how important this task is.
 I like sharing when I get new things! This time, I have a personal and a business "fun thing" to tell you about. Fair warning, the business one is kind of nerdy :)
Headphones and presets might not seem like a big deal, but there is more to it than it seems. (I have a story for everything!)  I talk a lot about the "experience" that you get when working with me, but what does that entail? What should you expect when you book a session? I'm glad you asked!
 My family just read a biography of David Bussau and WOW!!! The man is an incredible inspiration. His work ethic and drive is rare but it led to incredible things and blessings for millions of people. I truly believe God was working behind all that David has accomplished.
