 May was a lot. I haven't had such a busy month since September/October of 2023. While there were so many good things this month, I am hoping June slows down a bit because I am not a fan of going constantly like I have been.

 "Can you get a variety of photos in 25 minutes?" Yes we can! The inaugural day of Novella Sessions was a rousing success where we proved without a doubt that we can get great variety in just 25 minutes even when doing an extended family session!
 I've been working with kids since I was a kid myself. My first childcare opportunity was when I was 8 years old. The little girl's grandmother was just in the room next door but I was watching her. I've done various babysitting/nannying jobs, VBS, and more over the years and have interacted with a lot of different families and kids but there are a few things that stand out to me when it comes to how kids live their lives. I think they are things we adults have lost and could stand to try and regain. I think they would bring us a lot of joy.
 You ever have something small that just makes your day? Just me? There are things in this world that are very insignificant in the grand scheme of things but if I experience them, they will instantly brighten my day and put a HUGE smile on my face. I hope you have things like that because they are such blessings!
 I have found my favorite part of spring!
The other day I was driving and the trees had just the hints of green, but the pear, cherry, redbud, magnolia, etc. trees were all blooming and it's just so beautiful! Plus, the pear trees dropping their petals look like snow :) |
