 It's a twist of irony that the photographer does not take a ton of photos of her everyday life. While I wasn't consciously thinking of it, I was blessed to do so much more than last May and I have photos so it actually happened, right? If we really operate under "pics or it didn't happen, then most of my life hasn't happened :)

 I'm a picky shopper. I have specific things that I want, a style in my head, but I don't want to spend a lot of money for them. "Free" is my favorite price, can I get an "AMEN"?
 I don't take bribes but I totally support bribing kids!!! Sometimes you need something extra to get kids to do a photo session, especially between the ages of 2-4. But bribery is an art and there is a certain time to pull out the treats.

 There is something about the wedding photographer's experience for their clients that I admire and wish I could implement. Unfortunately, it's not really practical. The element that wedding photographers have over portrait photographers is that they get time with their clients BEFORE the big day.  When we did family photos last fall, this little guy was a little unsure about the whole picture taking thing. Not this time! He was all smiles and even remembered me! I asked if he was excited to take photos and he said, "yes!" Then I asked if he brought his smile with him and I got a great smile in reply :)
 When I was growing up, I thought everyone had support and a community who would rally around them in difficult situations. I have experienced giving support and receiving it and honestly, I don't know how people do without it.
 My grandparents received a digital photo frame for Mother's/Father's Day and their birthdays. This is not your average photo frame, though. This is a Skylight frame and that is what makes it unique.
 I haven't seen Tommy in five years and before that it had been several years. He was always my brother's friend and my friend's brother so I loved this time to get to know him better!
