 I have had a love/hate relationship with my hair for my whole life. I didn't hardly get any hair until I was around two years old. When I was little, I had extremely dark, fine hair. People called it black and I got SO MAD! (I was a very emphatic little girl :) It thickened and got wavier as I grew up and also got oily.
From middle school forward, I had to shower every. single. day. The problem was, my hair was thick and took about three hours to fully air dry. Putting it up slightly wet gave it weird bumps and lines. One time, I had a guy ask me, "do you always wear your hair in a braid?" because the only time he every saw me, I had to be to our class early and braids were my only option. Why can't I just let my hair stay down and air dry? Because it gets frizzy and (in my opinion) looks messy and bad. I thought this was just how life was going to be but then I learned something amazing - you can train your hair!

 "Gratitude turns what we have into enough."
It also helps us have a more positive attitude. I'm the first to admit that my attitude has not always been the best these past two+ months. I need to focus on some gratitude. Want to help?  It's been a while since I've done a light and fun post and who doesn't love talking about food? When I was little, one of my friends and I had a game where we'd chose a type of food (say, salads) and then we'd each describe a salad we'd make. It was a sleepover staple game and always made us hungry :)
 I've done sessions at some pretty cool locations and I have a few in mind that I'd love to do in the future. But there is one specific kind of place that I really want to one day do a session at. And not just for a client! I want to do a branding session there too :) I have actually never been there but I've seen pictures and it just looks gorgeous!!
 I took to Instagram to ask my followers for "this or that" and "would you rather" questions for me. They came up with some good ones!!! Some are easy and some are a harder choice and require some explanation. Ready? Here we go!
 I really don't like hospitals or apple juice.
That might sound random, but if you have an experience like I did with those things, you probably wouldn't like them either.  It's funny how things can seem to take or last much longer than they actually did. I was in the hospital for less than 48 hours but if I didn't know that fact, I'd think I was there for at least a couple days.
 It was May 14th at 4 a.m. when I walked to my parents' room, bowl in hand, so tired of what I'd been going through.
"Mom, Dad. I don't feel good." "What do you want us to do for you?" "I don't know." What happened next started us on journey that would last the rest of the summer but affected our family for much longer. Almost dying can do that do you.  Why are there not checklists for people who want to start a new business? Here I am, two years into this business, before learning some very important information that could have major implications.
While I'm bummed that I had to deal with all this at all, I am very grateful that it happened early in my business and that I fixed the issue before it became a problem.  I could have sworn I'd already posted about this amazing product!! How have I neglected it this long? Well now I'm remedying that oversight :)
