Amanda + Kyle // A Fall Couples Session

You all know that I don't do much in the way of couples photography because I don't do engagement sessions or weddings. But when Amanda reached out to ask about doing photos for their three-year dating anniversary, I was all in. They wanted a mix of fall colors and urban settings so Downtown South Lyon and McHattie Park were the perfect combo for us. I love shooting in small downtowns because you get a homey feel while also getting that urban look and it's way less crowded than bigger cities.

This session was PERFECTION! Kyle and Amanda did such a good job. I am in awe. And I think we all had a great time.

I love when my clients make their session personal to them so I was thrilled that Amanda and Kyle brought their favorite coffee mugs and their guitars with them. They both work at Starbucks and music is a huge part of their lives. They are both finishing up school for music therapy and love playing together. One thing that was a fun "coincidence" was that Kyle absolutely LOVES trains. I had forgotten that when I gave Amanda the suggestion to shoot in South Lyon and McHattie Park has a caboose parked there. Kyle was very excited about the caboose :)

Maybe it's just because I was there with them but I can tell how much fun they had in these photos. I am having a terrible time picking sneak peeks because they are all so cute! How is every photo amazing?!
