3 Gift Ideas For Grads

It's almost that time of year - the endless graduation parties!!! My dad has been a youth leader all of my life and he gets invited to a LOT of grad parties as you might imagine. One of the hardest things is knowing what to give a grad, am I right? Well I've got you covered from now on!! Keep reading to get my best ideas for graduation gifts.

1. Books. You saw that one coming :) If the grad is a reader, I LOVE giving books!!! My favorite is biographies of people they can look up to and learn from or books that teach them something that will benefit them going forward. Ideas: Seven Men/Seven Women by Eric Metaxas, Bonhoeffer by Eric Metaxas, anything by Elisabeth Elliot, Corrie ten Boom's biography, Stop Calling Me Beautiful by Phylicia Masonheimer, & All That's Good by Hannah Anderson. I could keep going because there are so many good books I think that would be beneficial to graduates but I'll restrain myself :)
   
2. Something To Experience. Maybe it is a subscription box or a magazine but this is an idea that can be fun or practical or both! It also is something that lasts potentially their whole freshmen year and that could be a huge blessing to them. Ideas: there are almost endless options out there and it really depends on the person but if you like the subscription box idea, just type that in to a search bar and you'll be set for options!!
   
3. Money (with a purpose). A lot of people like to give grads money and I get that, but I like to give money for an express purpose. Maybe I want them to put it towards dorm items or their textbooks or just school in general. Or I might want them to do something fun so I'll say "go to a movie this summer with your friends".
   

Bonus: I think this is probably more likely a girl gift but you could give a Polaroid and film for them to capture memories with their friends during this last summer before everything changes!!!
